Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using it), reasoning (the use of rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction. AI technologies enable machines to perform tasks that would typically require human intelligence, such as understanding natural language, recognizing patterns, solving problems, and making decisions. AI can be categorized into two main types: narrow AI, which is designed to perform a specific task (like voice recognition or playing chess), and general AI, which aims to understand and perform any intellectual task that a human can do. The development of AI encompasses various disciplines, including computer science, neuroscience, cognitive science, and linguistics, and has applications across numerous fields, including healthcare, finance, education, and robotics.
