Iran is a country located in Western Asia. Iran’s capital city is Tehran, and it is known for its rich cultural heritage, history, and significant contributions to art, science, and literature. The nation has a predominantly Persian ethnic composition and the official language is Persian (Farsi). Iran has a complex political structure, characterized as an Islamic Republic, where the Supreme Leader holds significant power over the state. The country is known for its vast natural resources, particularly oil and gas reserves, and it plays an influential role in regional and global geopolitics.
